These are the discounts and tax benefits of the CDMX Government for 2025

The head of Government of the Mexico CityClara Brugada, presented a series of tax measures for 2025with the aim of encouraging taxpayers and easing the economic burden in this year that has just begun.

Accompanied by the Secretary of Administration and Finance of the country’s capital, Juan Pablo de Botton Falcón; and the Secretary of Government, César Cravioto, the local official explained that with the start of this year’s tax collection, various discounts will be applied to the payment of property, water and possession.

The tax incentives For the citizens of CDMX announced by Brugada this Friday they are:

  • 8% discount for those who payl property tax during January.
  • 5% discount for those who complete the property payment during February.
  • Fixed fee of 65 bimonthly pesos predial for older adults and vulnerable groups.
  • For older adults and vulnerable groups, a fixed fee of 65 pesos every two months was designated in the property paymentwhen the property for residential use does not exceed the amount of 2 million 702,787 pesos and for properties that exceed said amount, a 30% discount will be granted.
  • In it water payment A 50% discount will be implemented in the bimonthly fee for properties owned by vulnerable group owners.
  • 100% of the amount will be forgiven tenancy payment to those who make their endorsement payment.

“It is considered very important to make a call to the citizens of the capital, so that this year they can be in order with the payment of their taxes, rights and the set of resources that the Government receives,” Brugada said at a press conference.

Brugada explained that these measures seek to benefit more than 2.25 million people in Mexico City.

The head of CDMX government He recalled that the payment of property and water can be made in different ways, such as online, in the Treasury of Mexico City; and at more than 8,800 payment points such as banks, pharmacies, department stores and convenience stores.

“Let them be very clear that these public resources obtained in this way will be returned to Mexico City, in works, actions, services and programs and that we need this great citizen responsibility so that we can continue with a city that is a leader in having a budget whose majority resources today are from everything that is obtained locally,” Brugada reiterated.
