Last week, the National Civil Service Commission announced the opening of a selection process to hire 693 positions in different areas of the National Tax and Customs Directorate (Dian), within the work carried out by the tax authority to improve its service to citizens.
According to what has been known so far, from November 26 to December 9, any Colombian of legal age who meets the requirements of the job they are interested in may register for one of these vacancies, the which are offered at different levels.

“The positions apply in Assistance ranges in the positions of facilitator I and II, for the Professional level with the jobs of Manager II, III and IV, Inspector II, III and IV and for the Technical level in the Analyst I and V jobs,” they explained.
According to the CNSC, “some of the disciplines or areas of knowledge that are requested as a requirement for the jobs offered are Administration, Economics, Public Accounting, Social Communication, Advertising, Design, Law, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Education, Psychology, among others. others. Salary ranges range between $2,900,000 (for the healthcare level) and $14,400,000 (for the professional level).”

Where are the vacancies?
As explained in the call, these jobs are in areas such as Bogotá, which has 86 positions, followed by Valle del Cauca with 69 and Nariño with 50, while in the Colombian Caribbean, departments such as La Guajira and Atlántico offer 37 and 19 vacancies, respectively.
In addition, Bolívar and the Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina have 20 positions each, reinforcing the presence of Dian in this region. For its part, Magdalena and Córdoba also have opportunities available, with 18 and 10 vacancies, respectively.

In the rest of the territory, departments such as Antioquia, Norte de Santander and Risaralda stand out with 38, 28 and 26 vacancies, respectively. Others such as Caquetá, Arauca and Casanare offer between 11 and 17 opportunities. The call includes regions with a smaller population such as Guainía, Vaupés and Vichada, where between 8 and 9 places are available, guaranteeing national coverage in the selection process.

In addition, they can register and participate through the SIMO system, either in its web version or through the SIMO Mobile mobile application, available for Android devices.

Registration requires establishing a username and password, in addition to identifying the Public Career Employment Offer (OPEC) that fits the applicant’s profile, taking into account that each vacancy includes detailed information about the functions of the position and specific requirements, such as studies and experience.
