These are the 5 highest-paying jobs in Chile without a professional degree

How to apply for a professional driving course in Chile with only 4 requirements

In Chile, higher education is often seen as the main route to good salaries and job opportunities. However, there are jobs that, despite not requiring a professional degree, offer salaries competitive, even outperforming some university-level professions. This has sparked a debate about whether the traditional path to higher education is always the best option.

According to data from MiFuturo.cl from 2023, professions such as Translation and Interpretation, Psychopedagogy, Industrial Design, Physical Education Pedagogy and Early Childhood Education Pedagogy are among the lowest paid, which has led many to question the relationship between formal studies and remuneration in the labor market. In contrast, some jobs that do not require a university education offer salaries that exceed one million pesos, standing out as viable options for those seeking economic stability without necessarily pursuing a university degree.
