Amazon announced this Thursday that it intends to hire 250,000 full-time, part-time and temporary workers in its transportation and distribution departments to clients in the United States ahead of the Christmas holidays.

Likewise, it guarantees up to 20 weeks of paid pregnancy or paternity leave for biological parents, and six weeks for adoptive parents that meet a series of requirements.
