Santo Domingo.- Tonight, a mostly starry sky will prevail in much of the country, with little chance of rain, reported the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet)
Only showers with thunderstorms and some gusts of wind will occur in La Vega, Monseñor Nouel and Elías Piña, due to the incidence of a trough located in the middle and upper levels of the troposphere, according to the same forecast.
In the National District and Santo Domingo, clear skies and partly cloudy skies with occasional showers.

In San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, Santiago, Puerto Plata, Azua and San Juan scattered clouds, without precipitation.
The heat will continue due to the time of year, the summer season and the presence of Sahara dust.
Tomorrow, the trough at various levels of the troposphere and the tropical wave will favor cloud increases with showers and thunderstorms in Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez and Duarte, in the early hours of the morning, Indomet said.
In the afternoon and evening, rain will continue in Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, San Pedro de Macorís, San Cristóbal, La Romana and La Altagracia.
