The traffic jam started at 11:00 a.m. when a driver lost the stability of his car and went sideways on a road in the municipality of Chipaque, Cundinamarca.
According to the transit authorities, the events occurred on kilometer 16 that leads to the capital of Meta and it is estimated that temporary closure on this road until the respective lifting procedures are carried out.

For this incident, the Secretariat of Mobility of Bogotá specified that there will be a temporary closure that may stay until 4:00 pm this Saturday, May 14, on the journey that Bogota takes Villavicencio on the town of usme.
What is known so far is that apparently the tanker loaded with gasoline overturned because it had mechanical failures.
In the midst of this incident, the Chipaque Firefighters lent all their clothing to avoid conflagrations in the sector.
