A true and painful tragedy, this Thursday the worst was confirmed, there were hopes but they went out this morning; confirmed the discovery of the last lifeless body of one of the miners trapped in the mine in Sutatausa, Cundinamarca.
The news was provided by the same departmental leader, who published the data through his Twitter account.

- “From very early on I accompanied the families of the miners who were victims of the unfortunate tragedy that occurred yesterday in Sutatausa, while supporting the search and rescue efforts. Unfortunately there is no longer any of them alive, our hearts are broken.
The news was also lamented by President Gustavo Petro, who through another trill lamented the death of the 21 miners.

Coal mining claims another 21 lives in Sutatausa. Labor and business reconversion plans are increasingly essential in coal mining areas. Each work fatality is not only a business failure, but also a social and governmental one.

“There were a series of explosions”
Some miners who closed their shift minutes before the serious tragedy also recounted what happened.
- «At that time we were leaving shift, it was 8:10 at night when we finished; we got out of the car when the mines exploded and the La Golondrina mine was a series of explosions”.
He also pointed out that “in our mine there were two colleagues, but thank God the wave did not pass, they managed to save themselves.”
According to what the first workers to arrive at the mines have rescued several of their colleagues, others did not have the same luck.
