There were 28,039 coronavirus infections in the country, 23.8% less than last week

The Ministry of Health reported this Sunday 22 deaths from coronavirus and 28,039 infections in the last week in Argentina, which represents 23.8% fewer cases than last Sunday (36,835).

In this way, there are 129,016 deaths officially registered at the national level and 9,341,492 those infected since the start of the pandemic.

During the last week, 11 people died in Buenos Aires, 3 in Córdoba, 3 in Entre Ríos, 2 in La Pampa, 1 in San Luis, and 2 in Tierra del Fuego.

According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, the total number of doses applied amounts to 104,915,359, of which 40,825,589 received one dose, 37,561,037 received two, 3,084,739 an additional dose and 23,474,567 a booster dose, while the vaccines distributed to the jurisdictions reach 112,369,242 and those donated to 5,083,000.
