Rivera’s department was shaken by a new femicide happened in the last few hours. A man shot his partner and later took his own life.

The incident took place on a hotel on Route 5. There, a man and a woman who were a couple; as indicated they were separated, and were “disappeared” were found dead.

The man worked as an agent of the Policeman and served in the department of Tacuarembo. While the woman worked as a nurse in the Army and both “were separated,” she indicated.

Femicides in Rivera and throughout Uruguay
