Carlos Giovine, director of Libertad, spoke this Friday about the club’s plans regarding the First Division squad and the coaching staff for the 2023 season. “Iván Franco wants to change the air,” he said.
In communication with Versus Radio – Universo 970 AM, the leader stated: “Policy will be changed for next year. Some contracts are ending and they will not be renewed, priority will be given to the boys of the house. Those who are on loan will return.
“It has already been discussed with Alfio (Oviedo), will return. The contract ends Martín (Silva), his future is not yet closed”, he added regarding specific names.

For his part, in relation to the coach Daniel Garnerothe plans point towards continuity: “I am finishing the Garnero contract, There is already an agreement to continue for two more years”.
