Approximately 40% of university entrants in Peru end up dropping out because they are not satisfied with the career they chose. This was revealed by the person in charge of the Innova U program, Jessica Montoya.

The figure is part of a study carried out by Innova School in 2019, at the national level, and demonstrates the importance of conducting vocational guidance talks in schools.
“The talks should be addressed to third, fourth and fifth grade students. What is sought is to develop skills to perform in higher education, achieve solvency to face an admission process and seek to reduce the misinformation gap “he pointed.
Montoya pointed out that as a contribution for the students, work in the Innova U which focuses on four approaches: Academic, Professional Orientation, Agreements and in the Alumni Community.

“We are not focused on preparing them for an entrance exam, but so that they can have a competitive development throughout their higher education, whatever path they choose”Montoya added.
