According to the Ministry, Public Works presents a wide opportunity in the Norte Grande region, but requires doing it efficiently and consolidating values.

The IPI, which takes into account data on habitat, housing, access to educational services, infant mortality and labor insertion of responsible adults, among other indicators, shows that 86% of the departments in the region present high or very high levels of inequities in early childhood: that is why 40% of the CDIs in the country are located in the Norte Grande.
