Mexico has become one of the countries in which, in recent years, many Colombians have been reported missing, victims of discrimination, or even homicides that are difficult to solve. One of these cases hits a family from Quindío today and its protagonist is Diego ‘El Burro’ Díaz, a former participant of ‘Desafío’.
And it is that in the last hours his painful death was confirmed, the news was released by his brother José Díaz through Caracol Radio.
He indicated that ‘El Burro’ was surprised at his home and attacked by unknown persons who ended his life.
- “My brother was in León Guanajuato, in Mexico, and the information we received from the prosecutor’s office in that country is that armed men came to the house where he lived and shot him and apparently took several belongings.”
He added that according to what he had learned from the authorities of that country, there are already at least two people who were captured and you would be suspected of the crime, however there are not many details of what happened.

About Diego, the radio station recalled that Diego Andrés was a lawyer in Mexico, he was currently 42 years old and while he was in Colombia he also worked as a swimming instructor.
They remembered that when the reality show participated Challengehe formed the team called ‘Los Retadores’, however, he had already tried to participate before 2011, but without any luck.
“Back then, he was 32 years old, married, and described himself as moody and hotheaded,” they said.
