There are 300 clandestine tracks in Bolivia that must be destroyed and there are foreign drug traffickers, according to Del Castillo

The Government managed to identify 300 clandestine tracks that must be destroyed because they do not have operating permits, as revealed by the Government Minister, Eduardo del Castillo, in his report before the Government Commission of the Legislative Assembly. He said that they are waiting for a report from the Bolivian company that supplies the explosives for the destruction of these tracks.

“The following week the National Company of the Armed Forces is going to deliver more explosives to us to continue destroying tracks that have not been authorized by Naabol within the national territory, we have already managed to identify 300 clues throughout the national territory that are yet to be destroyed and that are not authorized,” the authority said in its report.

Six opposition deputies presented an Oral Report Request (PIO) to the Minister of Government about drug trafficking activities in the Noel Kempff Mercado park and he answered all questions with additional details.

Del Castillo said that there were three laboratories found in that Santa Cruz park and that they all had the same characteristics, separated by “work areas.” This distribution of spaces leads the authorities to conclude that in these spaces foreign drug traffickers workbecause in the case of Bolivian laboratories, it does not have the same characteristics.

Later, it also revealed that there are no people detained in most of the operations in these laboratories because the flight of the helicopter can be heard at a great distance and drug traffickers have 17 minutes to escape and take what they can before the planes arrive.

For that reason the Government is processing the acquisition of aircraft Surveillance systems that allow people fleeing from a laboratory to be followed by land. He did not say when that purchase would be finalized.

The other element against is that the gangs have people who watch the operations centers or the airports From where the anti-drug forces leave, these people called “parrots” alert the drug traffickers that the helicopters are leaving and they can put themselves in a safe place.

He also said that it is true that they find state-of-the-art machinery in these mega-laboratories, such as power generators, washing machines or microwave ovens, but that It is impossible to transfer due to the costs that this transfer would represent.. For this reason, 99.9% of operations destroy everything they find, burning or rendering it useless.
