50 electric buses for the Cutcsa company arrived at the port of Montevideo, and there were authorities of the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works, headed by Minister Lucía Etcheverry on the arrival of the units.
According to the MTOP report “since November 2024, 221 ships with electric buses have arrived and it is expected that by December 2025 they totally in 281. Of those units, 87 were intended for suburban transport and 6 to tourist mobility.”
