All these years of friendship rubbed against each other in 1994 when Emilio Lozoya Thalmann was still an official in Salinas’ six-year term. These disagreements derived from the break between the two. What happened? Like everything, there is not a single version, but the core had to do with Pemex.
Finally, despite this break, they had something in common: highly important and influential political contacts and relationships to date.
