At the PIT-CNT headquarters, the command for the Yes to the repeal of the 135 articles of the LUC made its first statements after the first projections published by the Usina de PercepciĂłn Ciudadana. At a press conference, the president of the National Federation of Secondary Education Teachers (Fenapes) and member of the Commission for the Yes JosĂ© Olivera said that there is a “technical tie”and argued that the results they show a “political message” to the government.
“You can’t keep turning your back on half the population”expressed Olivera, who also believes that joining the Yes discredits that the movement against the LUC has been a “marketer”.
