This Saturday, the XXII Festival of Beaches, Parks, Rivers and Spas began, within the framework of the celebrations of the Happy and Safe Carnivals 2023.
The conference – held in the state of La Guaira – was headed by the sectoral vice president of Social and Territorial Socialism, Mervin Maldonado, and the state’s governor, José Alejandro Terán.
In statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, Maldonado highlighted the large influx of visitors to the different resorts on the central coast.
“Today, the carnivals started, with a significant influx of people who have come to the beaches, it is for joy, for sharing,” said Maldonado from Playa Coral, in La Guaira.
This festival will take place throughout the country, and has more than 120 national points and more than 1,000 community points.
The operation will also have more than 6,800 recreators, who will be deployed on all beaches, rivers, spas, and different communities.
Last Wednesday, in addition, the Happy and Safe Carnivals 2023 Device with more than 139,000 security, rescue and civil protection officials deployed throughout the national territory.
The device will have an operational capacity of 6,000 vehicles, 2,000 motorcycles, 444 ambulances, 70 cranes, 190 boats and eight aircraft that will be available to guarantee the surveillance and protection of the Venezuelan people.
In addition, they will be carrying out a total of 7,000 toxicological tests at terminals and roads, as well as breathalyzer tests at the 3,000 checkpoints on the 18 trunk roads in the country.
The operation will also cover the 137 monuments and recreational parks and the 460 beaches suitable for the full enjoyment of the population.
