On the afternoon of this Saturday, July 26, the writer Félix Sánchez Rodríguez (1955-2025) died.
Narrator, essayist, writer for children and researcher, born in the village of Avileño de Ceballos, worked in Ediciones Ávila, was head of writing of the cultural magazine VIDENCIAand researcher at the “Dr. Enrique Sosa” Culture Research Center of that province.

For children and young people wrote Casers (Poetry, Editorial Nueva, 1984), Horse (Tenths, Editorial Ávila, 1991), Tear (Novel, Eliseo Diego Award, 1999; Editorial Ávila, 2002) and The Moon Train (Poetry, Editorial Ávila, 2004).
Another sensitive loss for Cuban culture.
