The news of death of the Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo Milanes in the early morning of this November 22 has moved the world. Figures of international culture and politics publicly paid their tributes and expressed their condolences for the departure of the author of “Yolanda”, also Cuban National Music Award.
Haydeé Milanés, one of Pablo’s daughters, expressed her gratitude on Twitter to those who mourned her father’s death. “To all his people and his people who mourn him today, I want to tell you that all the love you feel for him is the same love that he felt for you,” she said.

Pablo, whose last concert in Cuba took place in June of this year, left after his departure a record work that totals more than 400 author songs, which he shared on world stages with several big names on the music scene. Among the figures who have publicly lamented the departure of the legendary troubadour is Alejandro Sanz, who expressed his regret and gratitude on Twitter for the work left behind by the Cuban troubadour:
