Santo Domingo.– The community of Guací, in the municipality of Moca, Espaillat province, was dismayed after the death of the couple of husbands Ligia Maria Vargas and her husband, known as “Yefry”who lost their lives due to an electric shock while carrying out construction work.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, when a steel rod they were handling made contact with a high-tension cable.
The victims lived in the Los Solares sector, in the province of Santiago, near Espaillat, and, according to people close to them, masonry was their main source of livelihood, a job they carried out together and which led them to travel frequently to different parts of the country.
