Through a joint effort between the National Police and the police authorities of the Republic of Costa Rica, Nancy Abigail Góngora Guerrel, wife of Jorge Rubén Camargo Clarke, alias “Cholo Chorrillo”, was apprehended in the Escazú sector.
This woman is requested through a Red Notice issued by the Interpol National Central Office, for her alleged connection to Operation Neptune, for crimes against Collective Security, in the form of Illicit Association and Against the Economic Order in its form of Money Laundering.
The investigation against Góngora Guerrel began in November 2017, where it alerted to the existence of a criminal group dedicated to the trafficking of illicit substances, money laundering and other crimes in the Republic of Panama, where its leader is alias “Cholo Chorrillo” and one of his most important collaborators is his wife Góngora Guerrel, who is allegedly linked to the concentration of other members of the criminal group with the purpose of committing crimes, focused on concealing the money from illegal activities.
For the month of February of this year, “Cholo Chorrillo” was also apprehended in Costa Rica.
