East weekend is coming full of carnival events to enjoy with friends and family, from theme parties, through the Festival of Bands and a variety of events with the best of Bolivian gastronomy.
On Saturday the scene will begin with the Crema Camba troupe, with almost four decades of uninterrupted carnival life, resuming the 29th version of the Band Festival.
The event, which is already part of the official calendar of the Santa Cruz Carnivalwill be held tomorrow at Casa Grande, starting at 9:00.
This year the festival will be named after the master Orlando Rivero Pereira (+), director of the Banda Pan de Arroz, as a tribute to his career in music, as well as in other versions, tribute was paid to outstanding characters of regional folklore.
Once again, it will host more than a dozen bands that will compete to keep alive the chords of the taquiraris, the chobenas, and the carnivals.
The Rregulations reward the best performances in the taquirari, carnival, chobena and brincao categories. Similarly, the best composers are also distinguished.
The registrations are totally free and they are now open to all those interested, who can go to Calle Colón #85 (Aguililluras store) or call 770-04477.
Also on Saturday, from 8:00 p.m., you can attend La Preca de Believe, in the Sirionó room at Fexpo. The organizers, Carlos Tarabillo and Álvaro Fuentes, hope receive 500 people with all biosecurity measures.
“The event will carnival theme, on stage there will be an allegorical car with a queen, band, museum of coats, crazy hour, everything that characterizes the great festival of the people of Santa Cruz”, said Tarabillo.
That night will be animated by DJs Micky and Ripley, who hope that no one leaves the dance floor with their mixes. The ticket has a value of Bs 120 and can be purchased at the same entrance to the room.
Already on Sunday, from 11:00, the traditional Pig Festival returns, organized by the Vanidosos de Vallegrande comparsa.
For his 20 years, they will throw the house out the window with the performance of 20 orchestras at the headquarters of Real Santa Cruz. The cost of the shirt is Bs 150, with the right to the menu, which will have a barbecue, pork rinds, kjaras and rolled up, among other dishes made with pork. In the event they will crown Alizon Spain as queen of the Vain.
The Camireños residents are not far behind and celebrate the Carnival with the fourth version of the Precarnavalera Chaqueña, from 10:00, in the Casona de Gramajo.
There will be ballets from Chaco, the performance by Thola Claudio and Juan David Rendón, in addition to the best of the region’s gastronomy, such as the famous biscuit pork, seed soup, spicy Creole and Chaqueño roast, among other delicacies.
Also on Sunday, from noon, the crowning troupe Picarazos and the Idle people invite Costival, at Santa Cruz Beer Company Los Cusis. There they will crown María José Terrazas as queen of the Idle 2022.
The group Flow, Roca Band, Mister T and Giuseppe DJC will entertain.
