The weather: Possible showers for tomorrow Wednesday

The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reported today that some showers are expected for tomorrow, Wednesday, towards the eastern portion of the island due to the strengthening of a trough accompanied by the ingress of humidity.

These showers will gradually spread to other parts of the northeast, southeast and the Central Cordillera, while generating downpours, with thunderstorms and gusts of wind at times.

Likewise, for the night it is expected that these rains will continue to occur in several towns, especially in the eastern and northeastern portion of our nation.

The organism meteorological He also stated that the temperatures will become especially pleasant at night and early morning, due to the northeast wind and due to the time of year (winter), with a minimum between 6 °C and 12 °C expected in mountainous areas such as Constanza, Jarabacoa, Hondo Valle, Polo, among others, being able to reach 4 °C and -2 °C in higher altitude areas, such as Valle Nuevo or Pico Duarte.
