A record of the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (CAASD) is throwing water into the sidewalk south of Gustavo Mejía Ricart street, in Ensanche Julieta for more than a month, without the authorities solving the problem.
When they send the water service, it spreads permanently through a register of the CAASD which apparently has a broken pipe in the middle of the sidewalk and in front of a property marked with the 144 of the Gustavo Mejia Ricartclose to the winston churchill avenue.
“That water has been wasted there for more than a month, every time I pass by I see the water dump,” a resident of the area told Diario Libre who does not know if the case was reported to the competent authorities.
When asked if the case had been reported to the CAASDMrs. Mireya Almonte said: “We have reported it several times, but they take the complaint, but they never come, we are already tired of calling and calling and nothing comes, see if you the press can do something, that gives It’s a shame that so much water is thrown away,” he said.
The water flows from the register and runs permanently into a filter, which worries the locals who deplore the waste of the vital liquid without the authorities doing anything to solve the problem.
