In this way, one month before the end of 2021, the Total Salary Index accumulated an increase of 49.5%, above the increase in prices registered in the same period, which amounted to 45.4%.
However, this growth had an uneven behavior. Thus, public sector wages led the rise with 54.5%, followed by those of the registered private sector, with 53.1%, behind the income of workers “in black”, with 32.8%. .
The Minister of Productive Development, Matias Kulfas, assured that, for this year “a great challenge is that the salary beats inflation”.
“We have had a very complicated 2021 in inflation at the international level, That is why we work in a scheme of 1,300 products with agreed prices., seeking to provide a reference basket in order to achieve a reduction in inflation”.
