Santo Domingo. – For the vice president Raquel Penathe family unit is the foundation that sustains an entire nation.
The vice president also defined the family as the greatest school in the life of each personsince at home faith and values are learned, principles that guide decisions and way of living.
“The values that sustain an entire country are born in the home. There I learned the faith that sustains me and the courage to serve with love and dedication. It is the first space where we learn the principles that guide our decisions and our way of living,” expressed Peña through an audiovisual published on his social networks, within the framework of the celebrations for Family Month.
The vice president also highlighted the importance of family unitywhich is strengthened with commitment and mutual accompaniment at every stage of life.
Peña also highlighted that from his role he confirms that the nation can be seen as one big family that grows when “we walk together and care with our hearts for those who need it most.”
“My hug reaches every Dominican home that with hope and work continues to build the Dominican Republic that we all dream of,” he stated.
Finally, he invited citizens to reflect on the importance of home as the space where the values that sustain an entire country are born, wishing God’s blessing for all Dominican families.
