The Venezuelan people continue to mobilize to demand the release of Maduro and Cilia

The Venezuelan people remain in permanent mobilization to demand the immediate release of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the first combatant, Cilia Flores, who were kidnapped on January 3 after a US military intervention.

From the El Valle parish, the head of Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, praised the determination of the Caracas people who have taken to the streets in defense of territorial sovereignty and to demand the return of the presidential couple. Likewise, he pointed out that the truth about the unfounded slander against the national leader is coming to light and urged those who have made a mistake to rectify it. He recalled that President Maduro is the champion of national dialogue and that Venezuela, despite having faced multiple conspiracies, is a nation that rejects war. «The people will continue in the streets, loyal to Maduro and his historical project. Our dignity is framed in daily combat; “It is that same dignity that has led the president to send a message of clarity and peace to the world,” he stated.

Call to preserve territorial peace

For her part, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, urged to guarantee territorial peace through civil-military-police union.

He stressed that in the face of this criminal act, the Bolivarian Government will continue to guarantee the exercise of political power at all levels, from the Popular Power to the national level, to protect families, and especially the boys and girls affected by the situation.

Miranda mobilizes in defense of the homeland

The governor of Miranda, Elio Serrano, joined the mobilization in Petare, where he highlighted the commitment of the Miranda youth to the defense of the homeland.

Infante also expressed his firm support for the acting president Delcy Rodríguez, and the entire government team that leads the country at this juncture.

He assured that Venezuela will continue to flourish and that, “sooner rather than later,” they will achieve the return of Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores to their homeland.
