Detectives from the Valparaíso Anti-Narcotics and Organized Crime Brigade carried out an operation in conjunction with the Criminal Analysis Office of the Public Ministry, in which three individuals who had nine kilos of marijuana were captured.
Second procedure
In a second proceeding, officers detained two other people and more than four kilos of sativa cannabis were seized. In total, 15,000 doses of the drug were seized.
Implicated at the disposal of justice
The five defendants were made available to the courts of justice, where they will face charges for illicit drug trafficking. The drug, valued at more than 75 million pesos, was sent to the Health Service for its subsequent destruction.
The Valparaíso Anti-Narcotics and Organized Crime Brigade continues to work to dismantle gangs dedicated to illicit drug trafficking in the region and thus prevent its consumption and sale.
