The use of public services grew 5.5% year-on-year in September

The use of public services registered an increase of 5.5% in September compared to the same month of 2021, while in the comparison against last August it marked a drop of 0.4%, reported the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec). .

During September, and with respect to the same month of the previous year, the demand for electricity, gas and water registered a reduction of 0.9%.

Meanwhile, waste collection had a drop of 3.9% in the same period.

For its part, passenger transport grew 78.6%, while cargo decreased 6.3 respectively; and passing vehicles paying for tolls marked an increase of 5.4%.

Likewise, the postal mail service fell 3.4%; while the telephony sector registered an increase of 2.2%.

Regarding the comparison with August, and in seasonally adjusted terms, it was observed that the demand for electricity, gas and water fell 1.3% and waste collection fell 1.5%.

For its part, passenger transport increased 3.2%, and cargo transport decreased 3.9%, and passing vehicles paying tolls showed a negative variation of 6.6%.

Likewise, the mail service registered a drop of 4.1%; reported the INDEC.
