As reported cnnRodríguez announced this Tuesday that part of the Venezuelan resources blocked in the United States are being released as a result of contacts with the Trump Administration.
In an event broadcast on the state channel VTVassured that these funds will allow the purchase of medical equipment in the United States for Venezuelan hospitals, as well as investments in the electrical system and the gas industry.
The president in charge stated that she has established “communication channels of respect and courtesy” both with Trump and with the Secretary of State, Marco Rubioand defended the path of diplomatic dialogue to resolve the differences between both countries.
“We are unlocking resources from Venezuela that belong to the people of Venezuela,” he said, recalling that billions of dollars remain held abroad as a result of international sanctions.

Rodríguez’s statements come after assuming the Presidency in charge after the capture of Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, on January 3, in a US military operation in Caracas.

Despite these warnings, The president in charge has reiterated that Venezuela is a sovereign country and that it will not accept foreign interferencein a context marked by the partial release of assets, diplomatic dialogue and growing political pressure from the United States.
