The US asks the Senate not to include the shooting down of planes in the air control law

Hoy Paraguay

Two officials from the United States embassy in our country met with members of the Senate executive committee. It was to reiterate the position of the US government to reject the inclusion of the article that allows the shooting down of planes, within the airspace protection law.

The argument put forward by the emissaries of the embassy is that due to the lack of sufficient structure, there is a significant percentage of possibility of error, with fatal consequences for people who are not related to organized crime.

The US request confirmed by Senator Jorge Querey (one of the participants in the meeting) was taken as a note by members of the executive committee.

“I think the subject of the claim was clear. I don’t know if an attitude would be relevant in these cases. I think it was made clear in yesterday’s meeting.” stated the legislator.

The entrance The US asks the Senate not to include the shooting down of planes in the air control law was first published in diary TODAY.
