It was a weekday like any other and the clock said 12 noon. JK7, as the 22-year-old systems engineering student calls himself, left the gym and headed home as part of his daily routine between his studies and his work at home. In this context he spoke with Coffee & Business.
He is slow when speaking and handles himself fluently in the world of website 3which, in the words of tech investor Packy McCormick, is “the internet owned by builders and users, orchestrated with tokens”.
The college student prefers do not reveal your true identity: “There is a lot of money behind,” he acknowledged on the one hand. And he adds: “If I could always do it, quietly, from anonymity, why change this now?”
JK7’s path as such began in 2021, “during the rise of both the cryptocurrencies as of the NFT’s”, narrates. The enthusiast was quickly immersed in this virtual world.
The token non-fungible assets (or NFTs) are encrypted digital assets. That is, a special type of token cryptographic that represents something unique. Therefore, this is the opposite of cryptocurrencies, whose value —like Bitcoin— is equal between units, as if it were a physical currency, like the dollar or the Uruguayan peso. An NFT, on the other hand, could be compared to a work of art. digital artand its value is unique.
JK7 was gaining more and more ground in that universe. Even at the moment of taking off from him, the young he got to “get an NFT for $200 and within three seconds resell it for $600”. The young man saw the door to access a new opportunity, and took it.
Now, he divides his work in two directions. On the one hand, direct your own companycall V1P$. Through the company offers advice on both cryptocurrencies and NFT. V1P$ has its metaverse and, in addition to the aforementioned, it bets on various goals, such as launching its own clothing brand.
And, on the other, is dedicated to investing, also, in NFT and cryptocurrencies on your own.

“I invest more in the people who are in a project than in the project itself,” emphasizes the businessman, and maintains that in this area credibility is essential. For this reason, JK7 thoroughly investigates those who present the initiative.
Although the risk always exists —and more so in a field in full evolution—, “thanks to the blockchain, whose data is public and transparent, we can get good advice on the history of these users. Then, the project is evaluated and the company takes it or not. In case it is taken, we accompany the project until it is presented to the market”, explains JK7.
But the biggest milestone achieved by the entrepreneur —at least, so far— was last week when he earned $82,000 in just 15 seconds.
“Success could be seen coming,” says JK7, given that “he had worked hard” for this project to come to fruition, adds the university student who, on one occasion, spent 40 hours in a row working on the proposal.
The project came to the field and in a short time all the NFTs were already placed. “She was crazy and I couldn’t believe it,” he confesses to Coffee & Business. The pieces had a $70 base costbut, the good performance of the product, made in just a few seconds this price will climb to US$ 6 thousand.
“We came to be in the top 1 worldwide in the game with the highest sales volume in the last 5 minutes,” says the businessman.
“In addition, everything went perfectly, there were no complaints about anything, as a group, we were very happy”, adds JK7 who worked during nine months together with a group of about 20 people, with whom they communicated through WhatsApp. “We talked about this project all day; we discussed, debated and constantly asked ourselves what decision would be the best to benefit the project”, indicates the businessman.
This is his biggest milestone to date, although the young university student is surpassing himself, which leads him to remember his first great success: buying an NFT for US$200 and reselling it for US$10,000. But this moment “doesn’t compare” to the performance of this last set of pieces, he acknowledges.
With his private activity, JK7 can collect between US$60,000 and US$70,000 per month, he acknowledged. Likewise, he assures that “very few people” know about his work. Only his parents and a friend of his know the identity of JK7, but this situation is already natural. He takes it easy, contrary to the dizzying pace of the field in which he works.
Regarding the new paradigms that are opening up, such as Web 3, the businessman recognized that, as it is a new trend that is “developing”, it is logical that people have a little fear and mistrust. “When the car appeared, those in the carts were scared,” he comments on the increasingly abrupt changes that technology is experiencing.
However, JK7 is sure that the global future runs towards that north and he accompanies it.
