The Construction Workers Union (Uocra) led by Gerardo Martínez, one of the most influential and quantitatively most numerous unions, agreed this Friday with the business chamber of the activity the joint 2022, with an increase of 62% in 8 sections.
The union organization confirmed that trade unionists and businessmen agreed this Friday to close the conventional negotiation with a recomposition of 62% of salaries.
Construction workers will receive in eight installments a salary improvement that will be paid 10% this month, the same in June, 8% in August, another 8% in September, October and November, 5% in January and another 5% in February.
Martínez, Secretary of International Relations of the CGT and member of the Board of Directors of the International Labor Organization (ILO), also reported that the parties agreed that there will be a review of the agreement next November and that this possibility could be brought forward according to “The evolution of the national inflationary process”.
In this way, Uocra became the first union to exceed the parity figure of 60%, since until now the Argentine Federation of Commerce and Services Employees (Faecys) of Armando Cavlieri and the gastronomic workers had agreed on this percentage, and they had 59% closed food and health.
Union sources from the Uocra told Télam this afternoon that Salary increases obtained in parity will be applied to current salaries as of March 31 last.
