In the case of steel and aluminum, Trump initially determined a 25% tariff before Duplicate to 50% In June.

Although so far the Impact of Trump’s tariffs Regarding consumer prices has been limited, economists have warned that the complete effects are yet to be seen.

For now, some companies have faced the situation advancing the purchase of products that foresaw that they would be subject to tariffs. Others have transferred additional costs to their consumers or have absorbed part of the new tariff load.

But analysts have pointed out that it is unlikely that importers and retailers are able to endure those costs indefinitely, and that consumers prices are eventually increased.

Some economists argue that the inflationary impact will be punctual, but others are more cautious and fear more persistent effects.
