The United Kingdom distances itself from Guaidó and annuls its 2019 position

The Government of the United Kingdom sent a letter to the Court of Appeals to annul the position assumed in 2019 regarding the self-proclaimed Juan Guaidó.

Through his Twitter account, the Vice Minister of Anti-Blockade Policies, William Castillo, attached the letter made public this Tuesday Sent by the English Government Legal Department to Judge Justice Cockerill.

The document recounts the position held by the United Kingdom since February 2019 when it expressed its recognition of Juan Guaidó as the supposed “interim president” of Venezuela, reports AVN.

“During today’s hearing, a letter sent by the English Government to the Court of Appeals was released, stating that the position of ‘His Majesty’ regarding the recognition of Guaidó is no longer the same as in March 2020,” Castillo reported.

The English government recognizes that in January 2023 the 2015 National Assembly, something that does not exist either but that the United Kingdom recognizes, dissolved the presidency of Guaidó and that the English government respects that decision, Castillo explained when reviewing the text on the social network .

The charade collapses

Likewise, the Vice Minister refers that the communication to the court indicates that “the letter to the Court of March 19, 2020 no longer reflects the position of His Majesty’s Government”, that is, Guaidó is no longer recognized as “president” and, ” the farce collapses”, he highlighted.

“The position of english governmentused as an argument by the Guaidó law firm (Arnold & Porter), cites the One Voice Doctrine, which states that in foreign policy matters, the British empire can only have one position and that is the one set by the Government. Castillo quoted.

The position of Queen Elizabeth II was ratified on March 19, 2020. “Since then, both the Gob. Boris Johnson and the following have argued that the Court should not review the issue of who governs in it but should take the position of 10 Downing Street ”, she mentioned.

“What will happen now? Judge Cockerill must decide if she continues to accept a group of criminals called ‘BCV ad hoc’ named by Guaidó as part of the trial. Will one more stage of delirium come in this legal and criminal absurdity against? This story will continue…”, added Castillo.

Earlier this Tuesday, the Deputy Minister for Anti-Blockade Policies reported that the new hearing of the London Civil Court of Appeals on the case of gold sequestered in england.
