Ten members of different criminal groups that operate in Aragua and Miranda were detained in the last few hours and war material was seized from them. They presume that they are cells associated with the organization founded by Deiber González (Carlos Capa), dedicated to kidnapping, assassination, drug sales and collection of vaccines from merchants.
During the procedures, 177 cartridges of different calibers have been seized, according to reports from the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).
Two of the detainees are identified as Hernando De Jesús Macías Sánchez and Luis Rafael Blanco Lozada, captured in Guarenas (Miranda). They seized three tear gas devices.
Also in Guarenas, but in the El Tamarindo sector, agents attached to the GNB Urban Security Detachment arrested a member of the El Manuelito criminal group, identified as Franklin Evelio Orihuela Quintero, who was carrying a tear gas device and thirteen cartridges for 7.62×51 rifles. mm.
In Playa Pintada, bordering Miranda and Anzoátegui, the military detained Gustavo Rafael Macuare González, a member of the Los González criminal group. The subject was seized a Tanfoglio 9 mm pistol and a magazine containing twelve cartridges.
In the El Palmar sector, Simón Bolívar municipality (San Francisco de Yare), they captured Yohadri José Ramírez Amaya, a member of the Carlos Capa organization. Ramírez was carrying ten 9mm cartridges and a radio transmitter.
And in Carenero, Brión municipality (Higuerote), Miranda, they caught Kelvin Manuel Rodríguez Pérez from whom they seized 23 9mm cartridges.
In Aragüita, Acevedo municipality (Caucagua), Miranda, military agents captured Santiago Jonás Verde Ruiz, a member of the Negro Feo criminal organization, from whom they confiscated 40 cartridges, including 10 destined for rifles.
Two members of the criminal group El 40 were captured in a sector of the same name, Páez municipality (Río Chico), Miranda. They are: Julio Agustín Melean Castillo and Maikel Antonio Domingo Fernández, who possessed 20 9mm cartridges and two radio transmitters, according to the military report.
In Aragua, a procedure was carried out in which Frankyer Ventura Peraza Ramos was arrested, from whom 60 cartridges for 7.62X39 mm caliber rifles were confiscated. The subject was moving through La Quebrada, Bolívar municipality (San Mateo).
The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry where proceedings were opened for illegal possession of tear gas, illegal possession of firearms and illegal possession of war material.
