The UFC has been involved in cryptocurrency since signing a 10-year, $175 million endorsement deal with Crypto.com last year to brand its fight kits.
In November, it added a multi-year license agreement for digital collectibles.
Crypto platforms have poured hundreds of millions of dollars into sponsorship sports leagues over the past year as they pump money into marketing efforts. Crypto.com also has sponsorship deals with the FIFA World Cup, Formula 1, and various sports franchises.
Transactions will take place through Crypto.com and fighters will be paid in bitcoin at a fixed dollar amount.
These cryptocurrency prizes will debut at the upcoming mixed martial arts promotion event in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday.
