The Central University of Venezuela (UCV) is preparing to actively participate in the events of canonization of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández and the nun Carmen Teresa Rendiles.
The event, which will take place on October 25 at the Simón Bolívar Monumental Stadium, will have the support of a university volunteer group made up of more than 300 students.
The initiative, called Ucevistas Volunteering, was presented this Tuesday by the Academic Vice-Rector, María Fátima Garcés, who highlighted the leading role that the university community will have in this historic day.
