The Túpac Amaru organization will hold a peaceful campsite this Wednesday in Plaza de Mayo to request a presidential pardon in favor of the social leader Milagro Sala, an activity that was scheduled for Tuesday but decided to postpone due to the arrival in the country of the national team of football after his triumph in the World Cup in Qatar.
The demonstration will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a concentration on Av. de Mayo and 9 de Julio, to march towards Plaza de Mayo, where they will camp from December 21 to 23, to demand the pardon of Milagro Sala, “political prisoner of the claims of Gerardo Moralesfor having exhausted the institutional channels after the shameful ratification of his sentence by the Supreme Court of Injustices,” they reported in a statement.

Pardon request
The decision to camp peacefully in Plaza de Mayo had been announced last Friday at a press conference at the headquarters that the group has in Mexico 1396, where various political and union leaders asked that Milagro Sala be benefited before the end of the year. with a pardon from President Alberto Fernández.
The request for presidential pardon comes after last week the Supreme Court of Justice upheld a 13-year sentence against Sala for “illicit association” and “defrauding the State”, in the case called “Pibes Villeros” .
The defense of the Túpac Amaru leader denounced that the highest court, in its resolution, did not address the irregularities that were evidenced in the judicial process.
Starting this Wednesday, Tupac Amaru will camp in Plaza de Mayo for three days so that the Head of State “grants pardon to the referent before the end of the year.”
