The Tunkas program benefits 32 athletes this year

A total of 32 athletes from 13 disciplines They will benefit in the second half of this year with the scholarship of the Tunkas program, which is made possible after an agreement between the Vice Ministry of Sports, the Bolivian Olympic Committee (COB) and the Bolivian state company of Aviation (BoA).

The announcement of the Tunkas program took place on Thursday in the auditorium of the Legislative Assembly, in La Paz, with the presence of most of the athletes beneficiaries this year.

Athletes will receive financial support and material for their preparation, also access to the Training and Sports Training Center (Cefed) of the Tamborada, in Cochabamba, in addition to covering the registrations for the different championships and they will be able to receive care in the Universal Health System (SUS).

The COB will support 12 scholarship recipients, with 700 dollars to those over 24 years of age and 500 of the same currency up to the age of 23. The Vice Ministry will support the remaining 20 athletes monthly with Bs 3,000.
