The Trump Organization is ordered to pay $1.6 million for tax evasion in the US.

A $1.6 million dollar fine was imposed against the Trump Organization, headed by former US President Donald Trump, after being found guilty of tax evasion for 15 years in December, the US court reported in a release.

The companies Trump Corporation and Trump Payroll Corporation, were convicted by a New York Supreme Court judge of 17 economic crimes in a case in which he and his relatives were not accused.

It was learned that Allen Weisselberg, former financial director of the Trump Organization, pleaded guilty to these crimes, to benefit from a sentence of 5 months in prison.
