The three involved in the murder of Miller Steven Falla go to jail

A judge ordered a deprivation of liberty measure in a prison against Luis Gustavo Hurtado Vargas, alias Chamo; Giovanny de Jesus Chouzio Ochoa, alias Putin; and Robert Andrés Gaviria Medina, alias Gato, accused of robbing and murdering the 15-year-old soccer player Miller Stiven Falla, on April 3, in the southwest of Bogotá.

According to the Attorney General’s Office, these three subjects are responsible for committing three crimes during the assault that ended up taking the life of the young soccer player, for which they were accused of aggravated homicide, qualified and aggravated robbery; and illegal possession of firearms.

According to several security camera videos and other evidence presented by the Prosecutor’s Office during the court hearing, The teenager did not resist the assault and handed over the cell phone. However, the alleged criminals he was repeatedly shot in the abdomen.

Subsequently one of those involved escaped on a bicycle, and two others ran away from the scene of the events. The collected evidence shows that the minor died two hours after the attack at the Western Clinic, given the severity of the injuries.

During the hearing, a prosecutor from the Bogotá Branch in charge of this case assured that the detainees committed the crimes of: aggravated homicide, qualified and aggravated robbery, and fabrication, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.

Hurtado Vargas (aka Chamo) and Chouzio Ochoa (aka Putin) they accepted the charges; while Gaviria Medina (alias Gato) did not acknowledge his responsibility in the facts. However, the judge determined that the three Venezuelan citizens who were subsequently captured in Guasca, Cundinamarca, should remain imprisoned in a prison while the trial against them proceeds.
