The new Minister of Justice, Édgar Taboada, said that he did not authorize the entry of Osvaldo Villalba’s coffin to the Good Shepherd, for which he will initiate an internal investigation to determine responsibilities.
“I did not authorize the entry of the coffin of Osvaldo Villalba because they took us without prior notice, so we will start an investigation,” Édgar Taboada, who today assumed the position of Minister of Justice, told Universo 970 AM of Nación Media.
He pointed out that there was no notice in time to protect the women’s prison as appropriate, so the authorization was denied. “It is not normal, it is correct, but I had to protect the inmates because of intelligence information that said there was going to be a riot and people would die,” he stressed.
