This Friday the Carnival celebrations begin, so throughout the country there will be activities and special events, one of them will be held in Centenario Park, where the stable orchestra of the Colon Theater.
The event, which will be free, is organized by the National Music Directorate, within the framework of the Columbus in the City cycle, with which they seek to bring citizens closer to the shows that take place in the emblematic scenery the orchestra of Colon Theater.

It should be remembered that the orchestra “was created in 1925 by the Municipality of the City of Buenos Aires —together with the Choir and the stable Ballet—, given the need to have an instrumental group typical of the Colon Theater, that had as its essential mission the musical interpretation of the operas and ballets of the season and the performance of concerts”, according to the organization.
Disney celebrates its 100 years at the Teatro Colón
As part of Disney’s centennial celebration, the Colon Theater will have unique and special functions to commemorate the best of this film industry.
In this way, during 17 performances citizens will be able to enjoy “Disney 100 In Concert”, where some of the company’s most iconic works will be presented.
