The Tariff Stabilization Fund is extended until November 30, 2022

From November 1 to 30, 2022, the scheme adopted for Extraordinary Contributions to the Tariff Stabilization Fund (FET) will be extended.

This was approved by the Cabinet Council when highlighting that this will benefit 1,144,134 electricity customers nationwide, with consumption of up to 750 kilowatt hours (kWh).

This measure, adopted temporarily due to the #COVID19 pandemic, benefits 92% of electricity consumers in the country.

According to the authorities, this contribution represents for the State B/. 11.12 million to the Tariff Stabilization Fund (FET).

The Cabinet Council also approved declaring a State of Environmental Emergency in the Colón and Carenero Islands, Bocas del Toro Province; to promote actions to mitigate the effects generated by low rainfall in this area of ​​the country.
