LIVE | different groupings march this Thursday, November 10 in the center of Lima in order to support the Government of peter castle and be against the presidential vacancy promoted by the Congress of the republic. The protest called ‘The Taking of Lima’ it is promoted by trade unions and organizations. Among its demands, it also urges the Executive power a new constitution and the Legislative closure who presides Joseph Williams.

National Police of Peru guards the demonstration
In the first place, it was reported that the demonstration will take place at 2 in the afternoon in Plaza Dos de Mayo and Plaza San Martín; however, several citizens gathered on Abancay Avenue this Thursday morning.
The Police was constituted at the scene with the purpose of protecting the protest and preventing the demonstrators from reaching the vicinity of Congress.

Pedro Castillo: The Government is respectful of the protests
President, peter castleindicated that the Executive is respectful of the protests in relation to the march that various organizations have been organizing to support their management and to be against the presidential vacancy.
“This government is totally respectful, not only so that the population, the citizens demonstrate, mobilize, but with all due respect. It is also necessary to distinguish between certain infiltrators in the mobilizations that make the authority and the leaders look bad. Mobilization, the right to protest and strike, has to be a constitutional right,” he stated.
