The Ministry of Health (Ssa) reported yesterday on the release of the BCG vaccine against tuberculosis, the start of distribution and the availability for its application in an estimated period of 15 days.
In a statement published on the social network
He said that it is part of the national vaccination scheme and its application is ideally recommended in newborns up to 30 days, or up to 14 years in a single dose, so it will be available in all health units of the institutions.
With this action, he added, the Ssa reaffirms its commitment to the protection of health and the prevention of communicable diseases, guaranteeing the timely availability of safe and quality biological products for citizens.
