A good in Popular Council, the Sevillian cast dates from the first half of the twentieth century and was initially conceived as a middle -class residential space, with comfortable houses and educational and commercial centers for its residents.
It was not the most luxurious or wealthy neighborhood in Havana, but a quiet and cozy place, with parks such as Córdoba and the one appointed as the cast itself. Although it still retains buildings in good condition, as vestiges of its splendor of yesteryear, the Sevillian also exhibits the effects of the prolonged economic crisis on the island. It is not only cracks on walls, sidewalks and pavement, but also of footprints of institutional and social neglect, such as the garbage that is piled pestilent in some streets and corners.
