The Ministry of Public Education (SEP) said that 13,959 places are in the process of being regularized, belonging to three upper secondary education subsystems, as of August 16, 2022.
In a statement, he specified that this will be possible after making arrangements with the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, and pointed out that of the total number of places, 5,345 belong to the General Directorate of Agricultural Technological Education and Marine Sciences; 8 thousand 189 to the General Directorate of Technological, Industrial and Services Education, and 425 to the General Directorate of Baccalaureate.
The mechanism for the regularization of teacher positions is underway and will be through an administrative procedure, which contemplates the formation of five groups of teachers from the universe of 13 thousand 959, who will be recognized as basification as of 16 August 2022

The Undersecretariat for Higher Secondary Education will provide teachers with information related to said regularization through the general directorates of each subsystem, in accordance with the SEP announcement.
